Biography
Ann Chahroudi, MD, PhD, centers her research on viral pathogenesis and treatment for HIV, Zika virus and SARS-CoV-2. She and her research team aim to discover mechanisms of HIV persistence and test translational, cure-directed strategies as well as uncover immunopathologies Zika virus and SARS-CoV-2 infections cause. Pediatric models and patient samples are critical to her research.
