Biography
Joe Jenkins, DVM, MS, DACLAM, is an associate veterinarian at the Emory National Primate Research Center. He completed his residency and postdoctoral fellowship in laboratory animal medicine at The Milton S. Hershey College of Medicine at Pennsylvania State University in 2001 and then worked as a clinical veterinarian at New York University College of Medicine.
Dr. Jenkins joined the Emory Primate Center in 2006. He provides clinical and research support to transplant medicine-related research, and is especially interested in kidney transplant medicine. He serves as a member of Emory University's Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), which oversees research with animals at the university.
