Next Generation Sequencing

We offer next generation sequencing services on our Illumina NovaSeq 6000 and Illumina MiSeq. The combination of these systems provides us with a wide degree of flexibility in terms of read length and depth, allowing us to quickly sequence small amplicon-based sequencing projects as well as larger whole-genome scale projects.

Overview of Illumina Sequencing by Synthesis Workflow

NovaSeq 6000

The NovaSeq combines throughput and flexibility for virtually any method, genome, and scale; supporting diverse applications such as large whole-genome sequencing, exome and large panel sequencing, single-cell profiling, transcriptome sequencing, and more. It utilizes a variety of flow cell types (SP, S1, S2, S4) to provide the broadest output range. The NovaSeq 6000 System generates from 80Gb/800M reads to 3Tb/10B reads of data in single flow cell mode. In dual flow cell mode, output can be up to 6Tb and 20B reads.

MiSeq

The MiSeq is a smaller unit used primarily for small whole-genome sequencing, targeted gene (amplicon) sequencing, immune repertoire sequencing, and 16s metagenomics sequencing. We also offer a variety of flow cell types for the MiSeq to better serve a range of sequencing depths and project sizes.
