How to Start a Project at our Genomics Core

Pre-Experiment Consultation

If you are working with us for the first time, we recommend a meeting between the user, PI of the study, and the core director. Please contact us to arrange this.

Submitting a New Project

Please complete the New Project Submission Form below, and attach a Sample Manifest (XLSX) before submitting the form. Samples should be brought to the genomics core in clearly labeled tubes or plates, placed in freezer boxes, and packaged appropriately in a disposable container such as a styrofoam cooler. For single cell captures, please be aware that you must schedule an appointment with us ahead of time (see instructions here).

If you are coming from main campus, please call the lab (404-712-6898) once you arrive to let us know you are here and someone from our team will meet you downstairs to receive your samples. We are typically available to receive samples on weekdays between the hours of 10am-4pm.

There is visitor parking out the front of the main buildings if you will be driving here. The EPC shuttle also runs between our center and Woodruff Circle (departing EPC every 20 minutes at :10, :30, and :50 minutes past each hour).
